For Fabretto Rural Secondary Education (SAT) students like Darling, having access to a secondary school located right in their community, rather than miles away could make the difference between whether or not they continue their education past 6th grade. In rural Nicaragua, where 75% of students do not complete primary school, continuing on to high school is a big accomplishment. Not only is SAT often the most accesible high school for rural students, as Darling shows us in this video SAT is focused on putting classroom lessons into practice in the school garden, or through community service.
