A sponsored child receives her gift

At Fabretto, we know that health makes a huge difference for children. Each December, the Fabretto Child Sponsorship team designs a special Holiday Gift that responds to the needs of our students, and this year, the gift centered on health, hygiene, & nutrition. In Nicaragua, many families must prioritize purchasing food and cannot afford other essential items, such as shampoo, dental care supplies, dishes & utensils, and more. On the other hand, just a bar of soap or a toothbrush can make a huge difference in preventing health problems and helping children to reach their full potential.

CS staff invited parents to learn more about the health & hygiene gifts

The Health & Hygiene Holiday Gift was a huge success! Each package included a set of age-appropriate products: soap, shampoo, toothpaste & toothbrush, toilet paper, a set of combs, cologne, hair gel, a towel, detergent, deodorant, and feminine hygiene products (for adolescent girls only). All of this came in a nylon string bag along with a plate, spoon, and cup. The children were so excited as they explored the contents of their bags, and this gift will make a huge impact in their lives.
