On January 15th, Fabretto received the funds raised from the second annual San Silvestre Solidaria race in Spain. D. Luis Partida, the mayor of Villanueva de la Cañada, a town near Madrid, joined Alfonso Gallardo, representative of the Du Cross Series races, to present Alicia López-Tejero of Fabretto with the check.
On December 29th, more than 150 runners participated in the 5,000 meter race (3.1 miles). The event was organized by the town and Du Cross Series to fundraise for Fabretto’s programs in Nicaragua. Thanks to all those who registered for the race, the event raised over 1,000 Euros, which will help purchase school supplies for children in Fabretto’s education programs.
Thank you to the organizers and all of the participants in the event! Together, we are creating a better future for thousands of children in Nicaragua.
