Last week, a softball group from Alexandria, VA organized a fundraiser, “Play For Fabretto,” to support our sports programs in Nicaragua. The group is called the Sunday Ballers, and its members are passionate about giving back. They plan events with the community that involve helping young adults through sports and recreational activities with groups such as Fabretto, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and others. With “Play For Fabretto,” the team hosted a sports equipment drive, which collected bats, gloves, cleats, sports bags, and jerseys to donate to our Education Centers in Nicaragua.
