Our Communities Need Your Help

Dear Familia Fabretto,

Last night, Hurricane Iota made landfall in Nicaragua, the second category 4 hurricane to hit the country in two weeks. Just last week, Fabretto sent water purification kits and blankets to those affected by Hurricane Eta in the Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua via one of our NGO partners. Today, Fabretto communities, from Tola in the South all the way to Cusmapa in the North, need your help.

Entire communities have been evacuated from their homes and although the situation is ongoing, the heavy winds and torrential rains across most of Nicaragua have already resulted in downed trees, flash flooding, overflowed rivers, and the loss of crops. As the hurricane continues to devastate the country, the families we serve are facing homelessness and a dangerous lack of food security and access to clean drinking water.

Please consider making a contribution to Fabretto’s hurricane relief fund. Your life-saving support is greatly appreciated.

We will continue to monitor the situation and assess the damage both in our education centers and in the communities surrounding them. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate this emergency.

With deep appreciation,
