Students from Modesto Bejarano School participate in one of the day’s many activities

On December 7th, the laughter of over 100 children filled the Modesto Bejarano School, located near the Managua city dump, La Chureca.

Local law firm García & Bodan sponsored a morning filled with entertainment and fun for children from one of the most vulnerable communities in Managua. Several employees from the firm joined in the celebration with children and teachers; they played games, sang songs, danced, and even participated in breaking the piñata.

However, the most exciting moment was the clown show, complete with contests and prizes for the children. The entire crowd–children, teachers, and firm employees–couldn’t stop laughing at the clown’s magic tricks and jokes!

Omar Velásquez Zeledón, administrative manager of the firm, reflected, “This moment is our prize, seeing their smiles.” He also dedicated a few words to all of the children, saying, “I can’t wait to watch you all grow, and see you here next year!”

This is the second year that the firm has sponsored an end of year party, and they expressed their desire to continue supporting Fabretto with more activities next year. The employees also congratulated Fabretto’s staff for their hard work and dedication to supporting the schools in the Acahualinca area.
