Ed Ciperski, a very unselfish man and a beautiful friend to Fabretto, was introduced to Fabretto’s work through his son, Zachary Ciperski. When Zachary passed away in 2014, Ed and the Ciperski family committed their time and generosity to Fabretto’s mission in memory of Zachary’s life and legacy.

Ed’s service to Fabretto was a work of love for the most underserved children in Nicaragua. Ed visited Nicaragua upwards of 6 times, always bringing the most practical gifts to children at the Fabretto centers. In 2016, Ed and his wife, Kathi, alongside Zach’s co-workers, built a library for the children in the community of San Juan de Oriente.

We recognize and honor Ed’s life, who left us on January 28, 2023. He was a very compassionate, generous, and faithful man. His service and action helped hundreds of children and their families over the years in Nicaragua. Those children still remember Ed fondly to this date.
