Watch the preschool graduates show off what they’ve learned in English class!

On December 5th, the Estelí Fabretto Center celebrated the tenth preschool graduation with forty graduates. Each child received a diploma and got to wear a cap and gown for the occasion.

Rosa Flores, a preschool teacher, reflected at on graduation day: “I’d like to thank Fabretto for giving me the opportunity to take a course on Montessori methodology, which has made a big difference in helping children learn.” She also thanked all of the parents for playing an important role in their children’s education and for helping to organize the graduation day activities.

Fabretto’s preschool program offers quality education to at-risk children by training teachers in the Montessori method of early childhood education. Through hands-on lessons and an interactive learning environment, trained teachers guide students through the learning process and help them become independent learners.  Preschool students also attend computer classes, English classes, and dance lessons, and each child receives a daily meal fortified with vitamins and minerals to help them grow.

The graduation concluded with laughter, applause, and tears from the parents, who proudly celebrate their children’s first academic milestone. The Fabretto staff at the Estelí Center looks forward to watching all of them continue to learn and grow in the years to come!
