In San José de Cusmapa, small humble homes have turned into classrooms due to the sudden closure of our centers amid the COVID-19 emergency. In these homes, many children crave the school lunch that they normally receive in our centers.
Our driver, Don Róger, starts his day bright and early, as he has to travel more than 200 kilometers to reach his destination. At our headquarters in Managua, he and the warehouse staff are in charge of filling the truck with food like fortified soy and rice, as well as much-needed hygiene supplies. And so begins an extraordinary journey with the mission of reaching every community, every home, and every child eager for nutritious food.
For our beneficiaries, attending our centers means having access to a complete lunch. Today, we want to continue bringing education and food into their homes.
Help Don Róger complete his extraordinary journey.
