Donate Now to Help Close the Digital Gap for Girls in Guatemala

In rural areas like Alta Verapaz in northern Guatemala, only one in ten women has access to the internet, compared to 15% of men. This digital divide is even more challenging for indigenous girls.

Only 6 out of 10 Mayan children are enrolled in school. And for girls, the numbers are worse—many are kept at home to help with chores instead of being sent to school. In fact, 1 in 3 indigenous girls gets married before 18.

Fabretto and our impact partner FUNDEMI Talita Kumi are working to change this by providing access to quality and contextualized education to indigenous girls in Alta Verapaz. Learn more about this project and the need for quality education in rural Guatemala on our blog.

We need your help to equip a learning center at FUNDEMI Talita Kumi with new computers, tech accessories, and critical infrastructure repairs. Let’s come together to raise $20,000 in just 30 days to provide access to education for every girl.

Every girl deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed—let’s make that a reality in 2025!

Our goal is to hit this target by April 7th, one month after International Women’s Day. Together, we can empower these girls to change their futures!
