Growing Together Annual Report — Elmer shares his favorite part of the CaTec curriculum: soil rotation.

When Elmer arrived at our youth agricultural training program, Capacidades Tecnicas (CaTec), he was quite shy and unsure of himself; a 12-year-old from Guachipilín, Honduras, figuring out where he fit in. But somewhere between learning about soil rotation and the classroom conversations, something shifted. Surrounded by supportive classmates and a teacher who believed in him, Elmer found his footing. Today, he moves through his community with confidence, not just with new agricultural skills, but with a sense of belonging and purpose.

Behind every meal served, every student reached, every educator trained is a network of local partner organizations that know their communities deeply and show up every day. This year, we brought those organizations together for the first time through our Comunidad Fabretto regional gathering. Ten organizations. 30 people. Three full days of learning what’s possible when you choose to grow together rather than in parallel.
