ADEY Foundation collaborates with two projects in Honduras

Last March, Silvia Larumbe, director of Fabretto Spain, headed to Central America to see first-hand the great work our local partners in Guatemala and Honduras are doing. On her trip, she was joined by a team from the ADEY Foundation, a Fabretto partner interested in identifying organizations to support long-term in Latin America.

This trip has resulted in the collaboration of the ADEY Foundation in two educational projects in Honduras. One is ¨Sinergias¨, managed by our local partner ACOES, to improve the education quality of 505 children with disabilities and learning difficulties in vulnerable areas of Tegucigalpa.

The other project focuses on rural secondary education and is led by our partner Educate2 Envision. The project will train 200 young people from rural communities with limited economic resources, in 21st-century skills and we will promote leadership and entrepreneurship to achieve their job placement.
