Running for a Good Cause 2.0

Three summers ago, together with my Nicaraguan buddies Roger and Ever, I ran 238 miles across Nicaragua (south to north) to raise funds for Fabretto Children’s Foundation, an organization that supports underprivileged children in education, nutrition and health. It was a transformative journey for the three of us. So much so, that next summer, Roger, Ever and I are planning to run the Fab250, only this time it will be 252 miles from the Caribbean Coast to the Pacific Coast.

What kind of guys make a commitment to wake up every morning at 4 am, to be in full stride at first light at 5 am, to cover 25 km (~15.5 miles) running in the relatively cool hours of the morning, to raise funds for a children’s foundation? My answer: the kind of guys who care deeply about each other and care deeply about the mission of Fabretto.

Please find it in your heart to support us again. I promise you, no one is going to work harder for your donation! All donations are tax-deductible, and will go toward funding Fabretto’s education programs in rural Nicaragua.
