As two category 4 hurricanes, Eta and Iota, have hit Nicaragua within the span of two weeks, we need your help to be able to provide the children and families we serve with emergency aid, food security, and access to clean drinking water. Entire communities have been evacuated from their homes and although the situation is ongoing, the heavy winds and torrential rains across most of Nicaragua have already resulted in downed trees, flash flooding, overflowed rivers, and the loss of crops. As the hurricane continues to devastate the country, the families we serve are facing homelessness and a dangerous lack of food security and access to clean drinking water.
