Our Implementation Partners provide critical assistance to our work on the ground in Nicaragua. Long term relationships like the ones we have with these entities provide Fabretto with a sustainable base from which we are able to continuously upgrade and improve our program and service offerings.
American Nicaraguan Foundation (ANF)
The American Nicaraguan Foundation is the leading social services foundation in Nicaragua. Fabretto’s work is one of over 300 projects that it supports with medicine, food, clothes and school supplies. ANF also plays an instrumental role in assisting Fabretto to get its donations of in-kind goods to Nicaragua with its large receiving warehouse in Managua.
Fundación Comparte
Comparte is a child sponsorship organization based in Spain that provides support for over 2,300 children in Fabretto’s programs at our center in Cusmapa. A committed partner to our work in Nicaragua, their sponsors provide the funding needed to keep these children enrolled in school so that they can become productive, employable adults.
Gleason Woodwork, Inc.
Gleason Woodwork has “adopted” our Carpentry Program in Cusmapa, offering financial support as well as skills and management training. Gleason is also assisting the carpentry shop bring its products to the United States for sale here, yielding greater income and market opportunities for the artisans in this remote mountain village.
United States Agency for International Development (USAID)
USAID’s mission is to provide economic and humanitarian assistance “from the American people” to more than 100 countries for a better future for all. The Fabretto Children’s Foundation is a registered Private Volunteer Organization with USAID and we have been the recipient of various grants intended to implement USAID’s vision in Nicaragua.
