The continued work and growth of the Fabretto Family depends on private assistance - both from within Nicaragua and the United States. Despite a wide range of support and Fabretto's financial and organizational strength, our ever increasing number of participating children and program offerings continue to challenge our funding targets. Your generosity will help ensure the continued work of the Fabretto Family as we work to enrich the lives of the children and communities we serve. And best of all, there are so many ways you can help!

• Make a contribution of cash or securities.
  
  
• Sponsor A Child. For $30 a month, you can provide the funding to keep a child in our programs until the day he or she graduates from high school! Your regular long-term support of a special child will provide a daily lunch, school uniforms (which are required in all schools in Nicaragua), yearly school supplies and the program support necessary to fund your child’s participation in the Fabretto program. In exchange, you will receive the gratification of knowing that you have changed a special life and one or two letters a year from your child telling about his or her progress, family, and interests.
  
  
• Host a House Party to raise awareness and funds for Fabretto. Invite family, friends, co-workers to an event that you host on a date of your choice so that you can introduce them to Fabretto and what we do. The event can be a cocktail party, a pool party, a back yard BBQ, a formal dinner - anything you like. Just contact our office at 703-525-8716 and we will work with you to send invitations to your guests, and provide you with program literature, our informational video, baskets from our women's basketry program and Coro Fabrettino CDs for sale, and other goodies to give you interesting display items.
  
  
• Get involved with your local Night for Niños Benefit. By serving on an event planning committee you will help raise much needed unrestricted funding to cover all of our operating costs.
  
  
• Combined Federal Campaign. If you are a Federal Employee, you can designate Children of Nicaragua – Fabretto Foundation #10925 as your target charity.
  
  
• Volunteer in the US. We need help with administrative and other important tasks. Volunteers help us keep our management costs to a minimum so that over 88% of our income goes directly to support program services in Nicaragua.
  
  
• Volunteer in Nicaragua. Fabretto has a long history of hosting volunteers in-country who come to share their talents and time with the children in our programs.
  
  
• Make an in-kind donation. A large portion of our program supply needs are covered through gifts of books, computers, mechanics tools, forestry and carpentry equipment, classroom furniture, music and sports equipment, health & hygiene supplies, and medicine. With so many kids in our programs, we can use virtually anything!
